Emotional Unlocking

The body speaks what the mouth is silent

Our body tells stories. We tend to give more importance to what is in our mind than what our own body expresses and when we talk about emotions it is essential to pay attention to everything that makes us up. Body, mind and emotion are indissoluble.

When we process an impulse through reason, it causes the awakening of a series of concrete feelings and our physique also responds to the stimulus. For example, if they tell us something that angers us, emotions such as anger erupt and the visible reflex may be to frown or tighten the jaw. The body is the vehicle for self-knowledge and balance.

We have a flow of vital energy in our body and this energy is blocked because of the emotional needs that we have not been solving throughout our lives. Not meeting these needs manifests itself in the form of bodily tension, as the energy is blocked in what is called the muscular shell. We continue with our lives, carrying these tensions and without being aware of their origin. In unlocking emotions, the body works to become aware of traumas, difficulties and emotions.

The process is thus divided into three parts: a first in which one becomes aware of the related tensions and emotions, a second of discharge, in which one acts on muscle distension and the expression of feelings, and a final in the one that releases the energy associated with conflicts.
